Your Child's Religion May Be 'Mental Illness'

Apparently an “overzealous practice of family faith may be a sign of an underlying issue.”

Another example of how the media subverts a proper understanding and practice of faith. However, it’s not really the “media” or the “enemedia” that is behind the subversion and distortions. In fact the majority of the journalists, writers and media people themselves are liberals who are well intentioned but ill-formed in their understanding of reality and the events unfolding around them. Another way of saying this is that these individuals have been deficient in their spiritual formation or their conscience has been erroneously formed.

The real culprit in this whole game of deception is the “father of lies” who has been hell-bent on keeping men and women in darkness about the truth of man’s sin and God’s love. The resurrection of Jesus Christ blew the lid entirely off the devil’s wicked conspiracy.

But back to the story at hand…

According to an article published this week on Time magazine’s website, your child’s “fastidiousness to religious practices” may be a sign of mental illness.

“Religion can be a source of comfort that improves well-being,” begins the article by author Francine Russo. “But some kinds of religiosity could be a sign of deeper mental health issues.”
