Pseudo-Catholicism anyone?
Make no mistake, it’s the dominant reality.
As many of you no doubt already know, Sr. Jane Dominic Laurel has been
so traumatized by the thuggery of Catholic parents who are 'hurt' by Church
teaching, she's quit all teaching and is taking a sabbatical.
Here's a reality check:
With very little exception, there's not a dime's worth of difference
between what was done to Sister Jane and what is done to every priest, teacher,
parent in every parish and school in the United States (and
Canada) when you attempt to teach moral theology.
Think about it. When was the last time a priest or teacher taught moral
theology without a group of thugs calling the Chancery who then tells the
priest to never do it again?
It's all been silenced.
